OCTAVE OPENS HYDERABAD TECH HUB

Octave inaugurated a new tech and innovation centre in #Hyderabad focused on software engineering, AI, data, cloud and product development.

The facility was inaugurated by Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, and Mattias Stenberg, Chief Executive Officer, Octave, and Sekhar Konidena, Vice President, Product and Services, Octave India alongside other senior leaders.

This is part of Octave's broader global technology operations expansion. The move signals 1 clear trend: tier-1 Indian metros remain the destination for GCC-scale tech infrastructure builds.

📍 We track 1,800+ GCCs across India. Centres like this typically anchor talent density, specialization pipelines, and cross-functional product teams—not just cost arbitrage.

What's your read: is this a defensive move to retain engineering talent, or offensive expansion into new capability areas?
