3. Platform Description & No Agency Relationship

GCC ERA is a technology-driven intelligence, aggregation, and community platform focused on the GCC (Global Capability Centre) ecosystem.

GCC ERA IS NOT:

No relationship of employer–employee, principal–agent, partnership, or joint venture is created between GCC ERA and any User or Company.


4. GCC Classification, Database & Market Intelligence Disclaimer

GCC ERA maintains proprietary databases identifying:

These classifications are based on internal methodologies, public data, and market signals; updated approximately every six months. GCC ERA does not warrant absolute accuracy. Discrepancies may be reported to hello@gccera.com. GCC ERA shall not be liable for decisions made based on such classifications.


5. User Accounts & Information Accuracy

Certain features require account creation. Users agree to provide accurate, complete, current, and non-misleading information. GCC ERA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading data.

Voice recording note: Each voice mock session displays a separate consent prompt before recording begins; by clicking "Start interview" you provide explicit consent for audio recording, transcription, and AI scoring as detailed in our Privacy Policy §12.


7. AI, Matching, Scoring & Algorithmic Disclosures and Disclaimers

7.1 Use of Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems

GCC ERA uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning models, statistical techniques, and rule-based algorithms to support certain features, including:

7.2 Nature, Scope, and Limitations of AI Outputs

All outputs, insights, suggestions, scores, rankings, or recommendations generated through AI or algorithmic systems:

GCC ERA does not use AI to make decisions with legal, contractual, employment, financial, or similarly significant effect. All hiring, interview, selection, rejection, compensation, and employment-term decisions are made solely and independently by third-party employers or organizations — not by GCC ERA.

7.4 Human Oversight and System Controls

AI-generated outputs may, at GCC ERA's sole discretion, be reviewed, monitored, adjusted, restricted, or overridden by human administrators; supplemented with non-automated inputs; or removed, corrected, or limited without notice. The presence of human oversight does not imply an obligation to review every AI-generated output.

7.5 Data Dependency and System Constraints

AI and algorithmic systems depend on the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of data provided by users and third-party sources; may reflect data gaps, outdated information, or systemic limitations; and may produce different results for similar inputs due to evolving models or contextual factors.

7.6 Disclaimer of Liability Relating to AI and Algorithms

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GCC ERA expressly disclaims all liability arising from:

7.7 User Responsibility and Independent Judgment

Users acknowledge that AI-assisted features are decision-support tools only. Users remain solely responsible for their professional, career, and employment decisions, and must apply independent judgment, verification, and discretion.

7.8 No Warranties or Representations

GCC ERA makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, suitability, or fitness of AI outputs for any particular purpose. AI-assisted features are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

7.9 Data Export and AI Training Opt-out

Users may request a full export of their personal data and AI-generated content at any time per Privacy Policy §8 (dashboard → "Download my data"). Exports are delivered as a JSON file within 36 hours; each download is a one-time use. Users may opt out of having their data used to improve our AI models by emailing hello@gccera.com.

9. Payments, Subscriptions, Refunds & Cancellations

9.1 Paid Services

GCC ERA may offer paid products and services, including subscriptions, premium platform access, reports, insights, events, tools, and other digital offerings ("Paid Services"). All fees are payable in advance unless expressly stated otherwise.

9.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Razorpay or other authorised third-party payment gateways. GCC ERA does not store full payment card, banking, or wallet credentials.

9.3 Nature of Digital Services

GCC ERA provides digital, SaaS-based, intelligence, content, and community services, many of which are delivered immediately upon payment or accessible instantly after activation. Accordingly, such services are not comparable to physical goods and are subject to different refund principles.

9.4 No Automatic Refunds

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by GCC ERA:

9.5 Refund-Eligible Scenarios

Refunds may be considered solely at GCC ERA's discretion in the following limited circumstances:

No other circumstances create a refund obligation.

9.6 Subscription Cancellation

For annual subscriptions (Edge Plan ₹1,999/year, AI CV Generator ₹3,999/year, AI Job Match ₹1,499/year):

9.7 Account Deletion and Active Subscriptions

Users with an active paid plan who delete their account during the subscription period waive any right to refund of the unused portion. The 30-day grace period (Privacy Policy §7) lets users reconsider before any data is lost.

9.9 Refund Requests & Timelines

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@gccera.com with subject "Refund request" and including:

  1. Your registered email (the one used for purchase)
  2. The Razorpay payment ID (visible in your payment receipt)
  3. The product/service purchased
  4. A clear description of the refund-eligible scenario (Section 9.5)
  5. Date of purchase

We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 7 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days via the original payment method.

9.10 Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank/card issuer without first contacting us, your GCC ERA account may be suspended pending dispute resolution. If the chargeback is found invalid by the card network, we reserve the right to terminate your account.

9.11 Statutory Rights

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights available to users under applicable Indian consumer-protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Disputes may be escalated to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or Razorpay's Customer Grievance at https://razorpay.com/customer-grievance/.


10. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights

10.1

All platform elements including content, databases, AI models, methodologies, logos, and reports are the exclusive intellectual property of GCC ERA PRIVATE LIMITED.

10.2

Unauthorised scraping, reverse engineering, reproduction, or commercial use of platform elements is strictly prohibited.


11. User-Generated Content License

Users grant GCC ERA a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, distribute, and display submitted content. Users retain ownership of their submitted content, subject to the license granted herein.

13.1 Participation is voluntary. 13.2 GCC ERA is not liable for statements by speakers, outcomes of networking, or third-party interactions.

Community Guidelines (binding part of this Agreement)

Expected conduct: Be respectful and professional · Share accurate and lawful content · Engage constructively.

Prohibited content: Harassment, hate speech, abuse · False or misleading claims · Spam or promotions without permission · Confidential employer information · Illegal content.

Content moderation: GCC ERA reserves the right to remove content, suspend or ban users, or restrict visibility. Violations may result in suspension or termination under Section 17.

14. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, tax advice, employment guarantees, or investment advice.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

(a) GCC ERA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

(b) GCC ERA's aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user to GCC ERA in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.


16. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify GCC ERA against breach of this Agreement, data misuse, third-party claims, and regulatory penalties arising from user conduct — including reasonable legal fees and costs.


17. Termination

17.1 Termination by GCC ERA

GCC ERA may suspend or terminate access without notice for violations, security reasons, or legal reasons.

17.2 Termination by User

Users may terminate their account at any time via Dashboard → Helpful Links → More → "Delete my account". Termination triggers a 30-day grace period — see Privacy Policy §7 for the deletion mechanism. After 30 days, all user-owned data is permanently and automatically deleted (with the exception of items legally required to retain, including payment metadata held for 8 years per Income Tax Act). Once deletion is irreversible, the user may register again but starts as a new user with no historical data.


18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Information Technology Rules, 2021 §3(2)(b) and DPDP Act §13:

Unresolved concerns may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India.


20. Force Majeure

GCC ERA shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, internet outages, infrastructure failures by third-party processors (Supabase, Razorpay, etc.), governmental actions, or war.


21. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


22. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and GCC ERA regarding use of the Platform. It supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, written or oral.


23. Updates

We may update this Agreement. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be emailed to all account holders 30 days before they take effect; existing subscriptions remain governed by the Agreement in effect at the time of purchase until renewal.
