BDO OPENS CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN CHENNAI

BDO India + BDO UAE just launched a Centre of Excellence in Chennai to serve UAE clients.

The play: specialist teams stationed closer to client needs. Stronger India-UAE collaboration. Chennai's talent density + tech ecosystem = the location logic.

📌 This signals a 3-year trend we're tracking across 1,800+ GCCs—regional CoEs replacing pure cost arbitrage. Firms now build *capability hubs* in Tier-2 cities, not just delivery centers. Career angle: specialist roles (tax, risk, advisory) in Chennai now compete with Bangalore salaries but offer faster seniority.

Is your GCC betting on CoE models or traditional shared services?
